Happy Holidays from Retired Worker

As this issue will be the last one for 2008 we'd like to take a moment to extend wishes for a happy and safe holiday season to all our readers. We hope you'll all be able to take some time off and enjoy it with family and friends alike.

Job Seeker Survey

The 5th Annual Job Seeker survey will be launched on Wednesday November 24th and run through Wednesday November 31st. Be sure to give us your opinions on the job market for older workers in Canada when the survey is up.

New Job Searching Features

Coming at the end of November we'll be upgrading our Job List pages again. Job seekers will be able to browse jobs by employment types and keyword features as well as the existing options.

We will also be introducing a new Job List RSS feed at the same time. RSS feeds let you monitor content for changes so subscribers can be notified of new jobs automatically.

Would you like to be a media contact?

From time to time, we're approached by media representatives looking for people with 'working after retirement' stories to tell. If you're interested in telling your story - whether or not you're working - let us know.

Don't worry - we'll never give your information to anyone who is not an accredited representative, and you are under no obligation. But sometimes it's fun to see your name in the paper. Just send an email to sarah@retiredworker.ca with your contact information.

Next Issue

The next issue of the Retired Worker Newsletter will be published on January 15th, 2009. See you in the new year!
