At The Home Depot a cashier must provide outstanding customer service to our Customers and drive the sales and profitability of the store. Customer service objectives include delighting our Customers each and every day and fostering long-term loyalty bonds between our associates and our Customers. The Front End is the last opportunity we have to delight our customers and resolve negative customer service experiences.
This is a GREAT role if you:
- Are able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Have excellent customer service skills and enjoy interacting with people
- Possess knowledge of all policies, procedures and duties related to customer transactions, cash handling, the service desk and lot
- 1 to 2 years supervisory or cashier experience is an asset
- Have excellent decision making ability and problem solving skills
- You must have a strong work ethic, coupled with undeniable enthusiasm and energy.
